    Materials

    • — An old hardback book (or one from Dollar Tree or a thrift store)
    • — Your preferred floral picks and greenery

    Tools

    • — Liquid glue (or glue stick, double-sided tape or a glue runner)
    • — Scissors
    • — Stapler
    • — Pen or pencil
    • — Glass for making circle

    Instructions

    1. — Begin by finding the middle of your book and open and lay flat.
    2. — Count at least 6 pages, find the middle of the pages and cut in half.
    3. — Tear off the top half of those 6 pages.
    4. — Now starting at either end begin by separating each page and place a glue line near the center of the book, and fold each page over onto the glue , hold firmly for a few seconds to allow to adhere.
    5. — Your half pages will look like this when done gluing.
    6. Place book off the the side and allow glue to dry.
    7. Now we're going to make our flower.
    8. — Using the 3 left over half pages you tore out of the book, put them together, lay flat and using a glass and a pen or pencil to trace a circle.
    9. — Then cut out the circles.
    10. — Next fold each individual circle in half.
    11. — Then fold each individual circle into a quarter.
    12. — Next place all the half circles together and staple in the middle.
    13. — Next begin by opening up one of the half's and place at glue line.
    14. — Now open up the other half's and secure it to the glue. Do this for the remaining half's.
    15. — With your fingers in between the petals, hold securely for a few seconds to make sure they adhere.
    16. — Now, choose where you want your flower to be and place a dab of glue on the bottom of the flower, and hold it securely for a few seconds to the spot you chose.
    17. — Now allow your flower and glued pages to continue drying for a few more minutes.
    18. — Now it's time to decorate. Place your floral picks and greenery down into the folded pages to your liking. Do not glue your picks and greens in.

    Notes

    • Since we didn't glue the floral picks and greens in it makes it easy to swap out your floral and greens seasonally.
    • Feel free to add any bobbles or string lights to dress it up.
    • I chose to add a few other pretties on a shelf beside my book bouquet.
    • Feel free to use and old book or go to the Dollar Tree and get a hardback book for $1.25 or even at your local thrift store.
